After 19 years in charge of the Minor Injures Unit at Launceston Hospital, I joined the practice in 2010 as the Minor Illness Nurse. My specialist interest is emergency medicine.

Working Pattern:
4 days a week- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

Christine Fielder (Minor Illness Nurse)

Christine Fielder - RGN, BSc Health Studies

 

Qualified as Registered General Nurse in 1981 at Mayday University Hospital Croydon, Surrey.


Worked at Launceston Hospital for 16 years, then joined Launceston Medical Centre in 2012. Completed prescribing course in 2014. Specialist interest in hypertension and heart disease.

Working Pattern:
3 days a week- Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

After working with the ambulance service for the last 27 years I have joined Launceston Medical Centre, currently seeing patients in the surgery and carrying out some home visits. My speciality is pre-hospital emergency care.

Working Pattern:
4 days a week- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

2 days a week- Monday and Thursday
